Richard K. Hartmann - father of WWR member Cher Conrad Smith - served as a Prisoner of War Service Unit Nr9 8205th Army Unit APO59. From Cher: Richard K Hartmann & Gladys D. Hartmann My father Richard entered the Army after high school in Elmhurst Illinois in 1949 when he was drafted to go to Korea. Worked in the Prison Camp. Richard & Gladys married August 4th,1973 and merged our families as a whole. They together between the two of them have 7 boys and 2 girls with lots of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He will be laid to rest at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. WHEN: Monday, July 19, 2021 12:00 PM - Noon WHERE: Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421 |
