SEPA 6/30 H/M Escort USMC Charlie Johnson
Warriors' Watch was asked to be part of the final ceremony for a Marine, Charlie Johnson.
His family has asked that WWR ride with her and his remains from their home in Levittown to WCNC.
His bio was generated by Gail: Born September 4, 1952, Charlies was born in Norwich, Connecticut. After high school graduation, he joined the United States Marine Corp from November 1971 to November 1973. Upon return to civil life, he worked for Engineering/ Maintenance of Ways department for Amtrak, before moving To Pennsylvania where he had his own Carpenters business for 15 years before retiring.
Charlie loved County music, attending all his daughters, stepchildren and grandchildren sporting events which we all had to be at least an hour early for, cause if you are on time you are late, had to be the first one in the parking lot! He loved long rides on his Harley with friends. Camping, going out a listening to local bands at the VFW. Charlie could fix just about anything that was broken or not working. He had a great sense of humor up to the very end. Charlie had 3 year battle with Lewy Body dementia with Parkinsons. Even though we never said the words "I Do", I do and I did. It wasn’t easy but I would do it all over again if it meant I could have him back.
